Terms of Service
Understanding your rights and our commitment to local-only security, data privacy, and transparent software practices.
1. Educational Purpose
Critical NoticeADB Device Manager is developed and provided exclusively for educational, research, and personal testing purposes. By using this software, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The tool is intended to help users understand Android internals, ADB protocols, and local network bridge communications.
- It must not be used for any form of unauthorized access, data misuse, or malicious activities against devices or networks.
- Users are encouraged to use the Software as a learning platform to explore how Windows and Android can integrate securely over local connections.
2. Feature Acknowledgment
ImportantBefore proceeding, users must acknowledge the core nature of the Software's features:
- Local-Only Architecture: All features (Mirroring, File Transfer, Remote Control) function exclusively over local Wi-Fi or USB. No cloud bypass is implemented.
- ADB Dependency: Many features rely on the Android Debug Bridge. Enabling USB Debugging is a user-initiated security choice, and the Software only acts as a client for these standard Android commands.
- Standard Protocols: The Software uses standard, documented Android APIs and protocols. It does not exploit vulnerabilities or perform "rooting" operations.
3. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using ADB Device Manager ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
These terms apply to both the Windows application and the Android companion app. The Software is designed for personal and professional use in managing Android devices via a Windows PC.
4. Use of Service
ADB Device Manager provides a local interface for controlling Android devices. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software under the following conditions:
- You will not use the Software for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to access the Android devices connected to the Software.
- The Software must not be used to bypass security measures on devices not owned by the user.
5. Security & Local-Only Operation
The core architecture of ADB Device Manager is built on Local Execution. We do not use cloud servers for data processing or transmission.
Our Security Commitment
All data transmitted between your Windows PC and Android device occurs over your local network (Wi-Fi/LAN) or via physical USB connection. No personal data, including screen mirroring streams, audio packets, or file transfers, is ever uploaded to our servers or any third-party infrastructure.
Users are responsible for the security of their local network. Using the Software on public or unsecured Wi-Fi networks is done at the user's own risk.
6. User Responsibilities
As a user, you agree to:
- Maintain the confidentiality of any access tokens or security keys generated by the Software.
- Provide accurate information if choosing to register for premium updates or support.
- Comply with all applicable data protection and privacy laws in your jurisdiction.
Interference with the Software's internal security checks or attempts to reverse-engineer proprietary components (excluding open-source dependencies) is strictly prohibited.
7. Software License & Ownership
ADB Device Manager is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved by the developers.
The Software utilizes several open-source libraries (e.g., scrcpy, ADB binaries). Your use of these components is subject to their respective licenses (GPL, Apache, etc.).
8. Limitation of Liability
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. THE DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DATA LOSS, DEVICE BRICKING, OR SECURITY BREACHES ARISING FROM THE MISUSE OF THE SOFTWARE OR LOCAL NETWORK VULNERABILITIES.
While we strive for stability, the interaction with system-level ADB commands carries inherent risks. Users are advised to back up sensitive data before performing advanced operations.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Significant changes will be communicated through the Software's update notification system or via our official documentation pages.
10. Contact Information
